A new type of genetically modified corn from Dow AgroSciences has just been delayed. This particular breed of frankenfood will stay off our plates for at least a year. The company is pushing to get the corn approved amid opposition from farmers, the public, and health officials.
According to Reuters, “Dow wants to roll out Enlist corn, and then soybeans and cotton to be used in combination with its new Enlist herbicide that combines the weed-killers 2,4-D and glyphosate. The Enlist crops are genetically altered to tolerate treatments of the Enlist herbicide mixture. The hope is that Enlist will wipe out an explosion of crop-choking weeds that have become resistant to glyphosate alone.”

Let’s round them all up and enlist them to the loony bin. Let us end this “chemical arms race” that is slowly killing our planet and people.
Monsanto and it’s ilk is probably the biggest threat to all life on this planet. And the President has chosen to install Monsanto’s former and likely future employees in government positions that allow them to fasttrack their poison into our food systems. We must grow louder and more organized to stop this push to destroy our health and our world for greed.

GMO is so bad. It is absolutely crazy how much of it is banned all over the world, but not here in America.
