Europeans make a strong effort to protect the honeybee through the potential banning of three pesticides that are harmful to the insect.

The honeybee population has been dropping around the world due to the use of strong pesticides made by Syngeta and Bayer. Both companies claim that this decline has yet to be proven as the leading cause of the honeybee count decline.

Although the companies refute any acknowledgement of playing any role in the Colony Collapse Disorder, European Union governments have yet to go through with the ban. Matter of fact, between the politics and EU discussions, it is a wonder who is speaking up for the bees. Will the governments give into the lobbying of major businesses?
